Steinlen

November 2007

I based this typeface design on the unique lettering of Théophile Steinlen’s Save Serbia poster from 1916 (right). Characteristics of certain letters (the R and the B) were incorporated into letters that don’t appear on the poster (such as the Q and P) and the numerals.
