Here’s the first in a series of photos from my two week trip to Sierra Leone, in West Africa. I was visiting my brother, a law student spending ten weeks volunteering for an NGO called Timap for Justice. Timap employs full-time Sierra Leonean paralegals who provide mediation services and justice advocacy to rural communities via several offices throughout the country. We spent most of our time in Freetown, Bo, and Bumpe, all in the Southern Province. You might also want to take a look at my brother’s photos, including other parts of Africa, at mmuspratt.com.
Shot from the YMCA, this is a view of Freetown, Sierra Leone.
