Getting started

To kick start this research blog/notebook, I’m going to be reviewing my (handwritten) notes from the past two years of grad school. As I come across an artist, photographer, architect, studio, place, building, etc. that I am particularly interested in, I’ll do a write-up here.

The idea is to construct an ongoing personal encyclopedia of various visual arts and ideas that will help me make connections and inform my thesis. As I get further along, the structure may loosen up; I’ll aim to write posts about design themes, techniques, and philosophies.
